We have been having near perfect weather for several days: kind of creepy in February! I’ve been indoors at work though and haven’t gotten to enjoy it yet. Hopefully it will hold through the weekend.
The sunset tonight was spectacular.

I love the sky in this, and how you treated the landscape as one shape. very nice.

Oh I love the mood of this. The warm sunset colors and the blue on the foreground objects. 🙂

Beautifully simple. Sky is nice and helps denote a very serene, peaceful mood.

It’s been very warm and balmy for us down here, too. Beautiful sketch that captures the mood so well.

Beautiful sky colors. You got that yellow, too, up there next to the blue without making green! Tasteful simplifying of the scene too. Overall, lovely feel!

Your sky is lucious, really giving creedence to your “near perfect weather” statement. I also know what you you saw -when I see the street lights, car lights, telephone poles etc. You’ve done an excellent job.

This is really beautiful Martha. I agree with Jana, I love your composition with a simplified sillouhette against that gorgeous sunset. It’s been pretty balmy here in France as well, although here that always means rain.

I love the silhouette with little lights here and there from cars and the second chance to enjoy the sunset since I stupidly closed my blinds instead of looking at it since I was trying to paint and it was glaring on my canvas. But I did take a nice walk in the afternoon. We’re nice and toasty in Berkeley while our east coast friends are freezing — it is weird!
