I don’t know how I found thisblog of yours while searching but WOOOOWWWW it is lovely and perfect. I live near the Historic areas of Williamsburg and Yorktown Virginia and paint from pictures that I take. I often want to draw on site –Plein Aire, but rarely do I see anyone else doing this. I painted plein aire in Italy with other watercolor artists and loved it. I think it is the idea of being ALONE and being questioned about my work. The weather does not always cooperate and I manage a million excuses. HOW SILLY. I want to sketch and paint on site and I’m a chicken!! Gosh I am glad to have found your blog, I am inspired enough to bury the excuses. Thank you.
